The Sitka Music Festival Foundation operates a permanent endowment fund to support the Sitka Music Festival, Alaska’s premier Chamber Music presenter since 1972. The Foundation invests in a diversified portfolio, utilizing professional management, to provide for the long-term financial needs of the Sitka Music Festival through an annual gift to the Festival.
2023 Foundation Fundraising Campaign
Dear Sitka Music Festival Supporter,
Since we launched a special campaign this June to increase the endowment by $100,000, after receiving a $50,000 challenge, many donations have come in.
The final numbers are in and we are pleased to announce that we surpassed our goal! The total donations received for the campaign were $51,785.
A few donations arrived after the deadline and were not matched. However, the donor offered to stretch the match beyond the pledge of $50,000, to include all donations received by the deadline. The total amount added to the endowment is $102,570! Thank you for supporting the Sitka Music Festival Foundation's mission of managing a permanent endowment fund that invests in the future of the Sitka Music Festival through providing annual operating support grants.
